About Us

A Second Home for Fernhollow Dogs

Snoutside Dog Lodge started in 2009 with one borrowed yard, six regular pups, and a simple belief: dogs are family, and family deserves better than a kennel run. Fifteen years later, that belief still runs every playgroup we put together.

What We Believe

Three Rules Run the Lodge

Safety is the whole job

Temperament evaluations, matched playgroups, double-gated entries, and staff trained in pet first aid and CPR. Fun only counts when every pup goes home healthy.

Play with a purpose

Enrichment games, rest rhythms, and social matching mean dogs build confidence here — shy rescues blossom and rowdy adolescents learn manners.

Treat them like ours

Most of our caregivers bring their own dogs to work. Your pup gets the same cuddles, patience, and goofy nicknames ours do.

The Facility

Built for Wagging Tails

  • Three outdoor yards — big-dog sprint field, small-dog garden, and a shaded splash zone for summer.
  • Climate-controlled gyms — rubber floors, air filtration, and separate quiet rooms for naps and senior dogs.
  • Suite-style boarding wing — private rooms with raised beds, sound-dampened walls, and nightlights.
  • On-site grooming spa & training studio — so one visit can cover play, a bath, and a lesson.
